Bio


HyoSun (Suri) Kim is a PhD candidate in Art History at Binghamton University, SUNY. Her research spans science and technology art, digital and bio- humanities, and visual culture. Currently, she is working on her dissertation, "Autonomacracy: Excess Forms of Life in Bioart." She has a BS in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked as an assistant curator at the Seoul Museum of History from 2019 to 2020. She is a co-editor of the research project titled "The World Leads to Seoul, Seoul Leads to the World: 1984-1988 (2019)."
